Soluble Oils

Many of our customers prefer the soluble oil chemistry because of its familiarity and excellent lubrication performance, especially in machining aluminum with smooth finish requirements. Our high performance soluble oils are known for their excellent machining characteristics and long sump life.

Semi Synthetics account for over 50% of all machining fluids used in the metalworking industry today. G.W. SMITH & SONS has formulated a series of semi synthetics that offer the cleanliness of a synthetic and the lubrication characteristics of a soluble.

For specialized applications where only a synthetic will perform, G.W. SMITH & SONS has developed a line of total high performance synthetics that contain no oil.
