In the die casting industry, one name is closely associated with die release agents - DIE SLICK. G.W. SMITH & SONS, Inc. was the first to develop a water-based die lubricant. PLUNGER SLICK, a high temperature lubricant for plunger tips, keeps machines running smoothly while increasing sleeve and tip life. HYDRO SLICK was designed to meet the special requirements of modern high-pressure systems, providing fire-resistant hydraulic fluid with lubrication and anti-wear properties. Other specialty products include lubricants and greases for ejector pins, solder reduction and quench compounds.
